Siberian Husky Club show, placing 2. after Swedish champion
Dante in the all male class. Mithril placed 3. in the open
class male and 4th overall.

April: Arctic Soul Vytok has been bred to Najanins Cold
River Rajah. Vytok is our most hard working male, while Rajah is
one of our leaders. There will most likely be puppies available
from this litter. If interested, please contact us by
e-mail. |
1. February: Kennel cough in the kennel, which
means that Ulf had to scratch from the upcoming Femund 400. It is of
course very frustrating, since the dogs seemed so ready for it. We
will come back with more information about the rest of the racing
season, when we see how the dogs are recovering. |

January : Ulf entered the Hallingen 160km, open class in a
field of 19 teams. We wanted to test all the dogs(except Caia,
which is not ready for long distance due to a muscleinjury, so
she has too few miles). The first leg of 80km went well, except
a little "detour" of about 10 minutes. Runner was taken out
before the second leg, because he didn't pull well. We suspect a
sore muscle in one of his hind legs. Second leg went a bit
slower. They did well on the flat parts of the trail, but were a
bit slow in the hills. Ulf had hoped for a "top ten", but came
in as number 11. We did not get a direct answer to which dogs
are going to be part of the Femund team, but will try out
different combinations in the week to come. Keep our fingres and
toes crossed that our dogs did not pick up any kennel cough
during the weekend! |

January 2010: *Ulf decided to take 12 of 13 dogs to the
Vikerfjell race, 70km, a short week before the race was held.
Tuva and Kari came along. Due to a long period of cold weather
after a heavy snowfall at the end of December made the trail
tough, and hard to keep the gangline straight, but was a useful
lesson before next weekend's race at Hallingen. Only Hanne
Rognstad and Ulf entered the open class, and both ran far slower
than the two best 8 dog teams; Ola Martinsen and Marcos Porcires.

January: Ulf decided to also enter the upcoming weekend's
Vikerfjell race. He will enter the 70km, open class. Caia
or Jack will be the at home since they have had some injuries,
and therefore have less milage than the rest. Which one will be
decided after tonight's trainingrun |

november
The new Snørokk site is out, only some pedigrees missing
still.
I also have trouble converting doginfo-tables to the narrow
format they came in, this will be fixed later when we find out
where the problem hide. There is a bug somewhere that cause some
extra lineshift

September 2009: SPHK's specialty show in Bjursås, Sweden
A long way to go for a show, but a really nice experience.
Karsten Grønås judged the males and Tina Permo judged the
females with nearly 200 entrants.
I had Mithril, Caia, Rajah and Viti with me. Mithril became 3.
bst male in open class, while all the girls got a 1. prize.
Rikke's Vytok offspring did very well. Their results can be
found at:

2009: Ulf has signed up for Femund 400 2010
The upcoming season Ulf will be the musher and Kari (and Tuva)
will be the handlers. We have 13 dogs in training and cross our
fingres that we will have an injury-free season so all dogs can
show what they are capable of. We plan to enter Hallingen 160km
open class in January as a trial run to pick out the 8 dogs
which will be on our Femund 400 team. |
