We are a family of four living in Atrå
close to Hardangervidda, a mountain plateau in the South of Norway.
We bought our first two Siberians in 2001 from Brattalid kennel
In 2002 two new dogs were bought from Rikke Bergendahl and from then there was no turning back. . We now try to keep the number of dogs to a maximum of 12 dogs, but it isn't easy..
Siberians`toughness and other polar qualities fascinate us and make us stay with the breed.
Our aim besides using our dogs for recreational purposes, is to have enough good dogs to enter mid- and long distance races.
We sometimes show our dogs, mainly in specialty shows.

Through import of some dogs we have established contact with Siberian Husky kennels in other countries and find these connections both interesting and useful.

Hein
Born 2001 in Atrå

Mushing experience: We bought our first two Siberians when Hein was 6 months old. He entered his first children’s race in 2005, and has entered children races ever since. He does a great job with socializing puppies.

Other interests: Football, scouting, swimming, piano, gaming and reading.

Loppa
The queen of the house! We got her in 2005 to help us keep the mice away. She is an effective hunter, using the nights to keep the population of mice down, and the days to lie in Hein’s bed. She is very good at keeping distance to the dogs and their yard, so hopefully, she will live a long life.

Loke
Arrived in November 2009. A beautiful male, who will keep Loppa company. Hopefully, he also learns to keep away from the dogs.
