Nay-La-Chee’s Hexov Runner arrives! A sweet and gentle boy we expect a lot from.
Biff went to live with his new family in Oslo. He had some difficulties keeping up with the rest and placing him with a family of recreational mushers seemed a good idea.
Easter in the mountains again. Warm weather made driving the dogs in the middle of the day difficult, but the trails weren’t too bad.
NSHK race. 5 days of nice weather and good trails. Ulf participated in the 6 dog 12 km class. He was in lead after day one, but Hågen Bjørgum’s team was faster the second day and won. The team consisted of Tara, Balto, Biff, Yippi, Utu and Rime.
Tuva and Hein both participated in the children’s race, Hein helped by Ulf. Tuva made it on her own (with a helmet this time!), and wished for a longer trail. 
I used most of the time running around taking pictures. All in all a successful stay were the whole family participated in the activities.
NSHK fall meeting on snow at Syningen, Hallingdal. A perfect weekend in beautiful surroundings. No races, no stress! Just training and a lot of dog-talk.
Attended SPHKs speciality show in Kloten. Erna Britt Nordin was judge. Arctic Soul Utu was 2. Winner female with CK.
I also met Trude Mathisen with Bosses's brother and mother.
The season's first training run.
NSHK Specialty Show at Gålå in Gudbrandsdalen. Travelled up to Gålå with Rikke Bergendahl. Had a busy day showing six dogs; Tara (1AK Res VK), Balto (1AK 4VK),Utu (1AUK 1AUKK HP Cert 3BTK), Bosse ( 0), Vytok (nr 1 BIM valp), Smilla (nr 2).
Our local club Mush arranged the Raulandrace again. A warm race for our well-furred Siberians, but the trail held up nicely. Ulf came in as number 16 of 23 teams. The team consisted of Tara, Balto, Yippi, Bosse, Rime and Utu. Our neighbours Svein Arild Danielsen and Åsa Flatland did well, coming in as number 2 and 6.
Ulf went to Gvepseborg to help out on the Children’s Activity Day. The children love to ride the sled, and the dogs get some sort of interval training from doing lap after lap.

Smilla arrived from Nay-La-Chee. A friendly and fun pup.
Went to Heidiburgh kennel in Sweden to fetch Arctic Soul Vytok. Lars Gustafsson had been to Finland taking home two male puppies from Arctic Soul. Vostok which they kept and Vytok for us. On my way to Sweden I stopped over at Rikke’s to take a closer look at Dilla’s litter which we will get a female from at the end of December. 
Together with our neighbours Åsa and Rune, we stayed a weekend in the mountains training together. The dogs loved the cooler temperatures and we used the mountain dirtroads to train together with all the bikers along the same road!
